Freshwater  Bay Golf Club, an Isle of Wight things to do in West Wight, is an 18-hole golf course set on chalk downlands overlooking the Channel. The Isle of Wight seaside golf course provides a challenge for golfers of all abilities. The location, owned by the National Trust, is a site of special scientific interest (SSSI) and a European special area of conservation.

The links, home to many rare and endangered plants and animals, have views of Tennyson Down, the inspiration of much of the Poet Laureate’s work; Freshwater Bay; Yarmouth; and the Solent .
