Isle of Wight Ramblers
Isle of Wight things to do West Wight
Isle of Wight Ramblers, an Isle of Wight things to do West Wight, enjoy walking on more than 500 miles of public rights of way. The Isle of Wight has one of the best networks of rural footpaths in the country with spectacular views of the coast, estuaries, downs and woodland.
There are two groups of Isle of Wight ramblers: IW Group and Wight Sole Group (wightsole.org.uk), mainly for people aged 20 to 40 . There is a variety of walks each week from short local strolls to bracing hillside treks. For details of the walks use the link below.
Donate a Gate
By converting stiles to gates wherever possible, Ramblers improve access to the countryside.
A commemorative gate is a memorial that provides easy access to country walks for years to come. An individual donation of £460 finances a new gate and commemorative plaque:
· to mark the life and passing of a loved one
· to remember a loyal family pet
· to commemorate a special event
· to promote your organisation
